Take the 528 Beeline towards Cape Canaveral (East)

I-95 North, Exit  Route 92—Daytona Beach

Follow Rt 92 (International Speedway Blvd---ISB) East to Beaches

South (Right) on A1A (this is Atlantic AV)---Resort is on your left 2.3 miles

Semoran Ave (Rt 436) North

408 West

US 4   East---Exit on Rt 92  (International Speedway Blvd) East

Follow Rt 92 (International Speedway Blvd---ISB) East to Beaches

South (Right) on A1A (this is Atlantic AV)---Resort is on your left 2.3 miles


Park on the South End of Parking lot.

To get to Condo

Enter thru the South Entrance

Elevator will be on your left take it up to the 4th floor

Walk forward out of elevator and right 2 doors & you are at #438

Gene and I are very happy to have you!

We have tried to stock the unit with everything WE would need for a comfortable stay.

Please let us know if there is anything we can add to make your next stay with us more enjoyable.



The Hawaiian Inn was a hotel built in 1965.

In 1999 the Inn closed down and went to condos.

We are the 2nd owners of this unit, as of February 2004.

The unit is newly decorated, furnished and we have added some personal touches.


Ice Machine is by south elevator.

Garbage  containers are by south elevator

Vending Machines—3rd floor  at south elevator

Laundry is on first floor…south elevator down to first floor,

take hallway towards lobby, laundry is to the left-- past maintenance and housekeeping.

Washer is $1.75-$2.00 Dryer is $1.75-$2.00.

Pools there are 3 on the property

      The Oceanside pool / patio is thru lobby or  @ 1st floor elevator--hallway to left

      The indoor heated pool with jacuzzi jets in linea/atrium by the outdoor pool

      Child’s wading pool is out on oceanfront patio


Hawaiian Inn Dining Facilities

Dining Area-Breakfast is served in the restaurant off lobby

Poolside bar and grill—burgers and drink prices are decent.

Hawaiian Luau  & Dinner Buffet  

Dinner Buffet and Hawaiian Show ---Thursday thru Sunday, see front desk for details.

Store on property open from 9-5 for souvenirs and beachwear—beach gear.


Hawaiian Inn Policies

No Pets

No Smoking in unit (planter ashtray on balcony)

No glassware allowed poolside or on beach

Nothing is to be hung over balcony rail (we have provided a clothesline w/ pins)

The balcony furniture can’t be left unattended

(That is why you may find the furniture in the unit on your arrival)


Problem Information:

Inventory List—Please check inventory list during first day and report any missing items immediately—including the towels.  Please report any damage or malfunctions as well.

We want you to be familiar with unit and we are expecting you to be responsible for items on list. Please notify us in event of damage or problem.

General Unit Information:

Patio Furniture: On arrival please place the patio furniture on balcony.

Runner:The plastic runner fits neatly into closet.

Pillows: There are 4 pillows in cabinets on upper left side of Murphy Bed.

To open the Murphy Bed:

MOVE SOFA TABLE towards kitchen

Grab lighted shelf and pull towards you walking backwards.

To Close Murphy Ned:

Fold comforter/quilt onto bed so nothing extends over edges.

Pull up from foot of bed and walk it up…it is evenly balanced and closes up easily.

If there are problems with operation please notify Gene immediately.

Night lights: The lighted shelf will be below the bed, turning on the lights (there is a remote) Provides a very nice light for that middle of the night trip to …???

Stock Items:We have left some items through out unit.

If you have forgotten any necessities and need to use ours please help yourself.

Ex: Laundry detergent-dryer sheets-shampoo-deodorant etc…

We just ask that you contribute to the next guy if there is something that you could leave.

Guest Book: There is a brown book on the counter…please add restaurant reviews (directions would be great) and any other practical information that would be helpful to future guests.

Towels: There are 4 towel sets in the unit on your arrival. Please do not use them at the beach and bring additional if you feel that this supply will not be adequate.



Check Out

Please wash and put away all dishes.

Try to leave most items in locations where you found them.

Murphy Bed can be left down

Turn off all appliances:  TV and Stereo

Double check to make sure you have all of your belongings

Please settle up with front desk for any phone calls that were made.


(Not necessary to pay for calls to Gene to report trouble.)

Please lock balcony door and unit door.

The cleaning crew comes after 10 AM…please check out by then.


What is Clean Condition?

*Clean condition means that used beds are stripped of their sheets and blankets/comforters are neatly folded on each bed.

* Used Sheets and towels are placed in the bath room.

*Clean condition means that the refrigerator is cleaned out and wiped clean.   (Friendly College students in #437 accept )

*Clean condition means that the stove is wiped clean.                            *Clean condition means that all dishes are done and put away.                *Clean condition means that all garbage is emptied and placed in chute provided in hall by elevator

*You have paid for a departure cleaning. If additional cleaning other than ordinary needs to be done after your departure, then a minimum of 2 hours at $25/hour will be assessed to you and taken out of your security deposit.

RESTRICTIONS: ABSOLUTELY -  NO Smoking in the condo please. Evidence of either may result in early termination of the lease and security deposit funds being utilized for a thorough cleaning of the unit up to but not limited to the full amount of the deposit if necessary.




Contacting On-Site Property Management

The on-site Property Management Team provides maid service and other services similar to what you would receive in a hotel. Owners that participate in this program are not active in their  property’s management.

We have chosen to be active in the management of our property and we feel that we can provide a better value to you by offering a unit with upgraded dcor and contents while still keeping prices at a lower rate than the house charges.

You are giving up daily maid service for this lower rate.

Please do not expect or request a daily cleaning from the on-site management.

If you feel that you may want additional cleaning during your stay or clean linens during your stay please let me know prior to check-in and it can be arranged in advance for an additional charge.

Additionally, do not request-paper products-towels-or bedding from the front desk.


Security Deposit

Security Deposit is taken to protect us from any damage or unpaid balances left by the guest.

We will be in contact with the cleaning crew on the day of check out.

Any unpaid phone calls made during your stay will come out of security deposit.

Any inventory not reported by you and found missing by cleaning team will come out of security deposit.

Any broken or damaged items will be replaced---I will submit a receipt to you with the remainder of security deposit.


Future Stays

Our rooms are rented on a first come-first serve basis. A security deposit is required to book the room. If you are interested in a future stay please make your deposit.

I cannot hold your request for “the same time next year” without a deposit.


Payment Policies

$200.00 Security Deposit is required to book unit.

50% down 60 days prior to arrival

50% remaining due 30 days prior to arrival


Cancellation Policy 

In the event of cancellation, refund of the advanced rental will be made only to the extent that a tenant can be found to occupy the vacated time reserved under this contract.  If we are able to rebook the property, we will refund a prorated share of the rental fee for each day we are able to fill, less a $100 cancellation fee. The option of trading your time in for a later time may be considered, based on availability. Any increases in the fee (Fees are established in January of each year and will be posted on the website) will need to be paid.



We would like to provide you with a nice unit so you can enjoy your vacation.

Please help us by reporting if you see something that you feel needs to be replaced or that we have not provided. We are in Chicago, we spend 6-8 weeks/year in Daytona, since we can not be there all the time---we need your help!!!

We will also be requesting feedback after you check out., we would appreciate your honesty.

We may provide your feedback to other guests that are considering staying with us.
